December at The Brockholes Arms

If December has taught us anything, it’s that The Brockholes Arms is at its very best when it’s full of laughter, music, quizzes, and the people who make it feel like home. This month has been busy, festive, and unforgettable  so we thought we’d take a moment to look back at some of our favourite highlights.

A Night to Remember with Flatlanders 🎶

One of the biggest stand-out moments this month was welcoming Flatlanders to Brockholes. The pub was buzzing from the first chord to the last song, with great music, brilliant energy, and plenty of dancing (and singing!) along the way. Nights like these remind us why live music is such a huge part of what we love doing.

Our Very First Christmas Day Service 🎄🍽️

A massive milestone for us this year was our first ever Christmas Day serving food  and what a day it was. From families gathering around the table to friends popping in for a festive drink, the atmosphere was everything we hoped for and more. We couldn’t be prouder of the team for pulling off such a special day.

A Festive Marathon: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day 🍻

We were open right through Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, and wow you really showed up for us. The pub was full of festive cheer, cosy vibes, and familiar faces throughout the whole week. Thank you to everyone who joined us for drinks, food, and celebrations

it truly meant the world.

Christmas Quiz Night & Our Winners 🧠🏆

Of course, it wouldn’t be December without a quiz and our Christmas Quiz did not disappoint. Huge congratulations to our winners, C & S Specials, who claimed victory and bragging rights! Thank you to everyone who took part, laughed along, and made it such a great night.

🎉 The Big Fat Quiz of the Year

We’re finishing the year with a bang at The Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Tuesday 30th December  our final quiz of 2024. Expect laughs, surprises, and one last chance to show off your general knowledge before the year ends.

🛠️ A Little Break & A Big Refresh

After an incredibly busy period, we’ll be closing from 5th January to 15th January to give the pub (and the team!) some well earned rest and a complete refresh. Think refreshed staff, updated decorations, and a space ready to welcome you back feeling better than ever.

We’ll be reopening with a bang, welcoming back the darts team, our much-loved quizzes, and plenty more to come in the new year.
